I am very excited to share an upcoming opportunity I have with you. I’ve been praying for God to use me to further His kingdom, and I feel led to go on a missions trip to Uganda. I expect this trip to be both exciting and challenging, and I pray that through this experience, I will grow and bring glory to God!
We are partnering with Compassion International and we have the opportunity to go and serve the people that people at my university have been in direct contact with. The trip dates are May 20th- June 1st. We will be working on projects prioritized by the local leaders, as well as spending relational and educational time with members of the community.
My primary need for this trip is prayer. Pray that God will prepare my heart to best serve the people I encounter. I’d appreciate prayer for our trip preparation, for individual spiritual growth, and for strong and lasting relationships with the community members we’ll be serving. I also want to grow closer to God and to see first-hand what He is doing in Africa.
As I take on the challenge of recruiting prayer warriors and raising support, I would be honored if you would also pray about partnering financially with me on this trip as well. The total cost is $3,200 and I'm believing in faith that the Lord will provide!
